Tollywood always responds whenever there is a natural calamity. Celebrities come forward and announce donations to CM Fund.
It responded in a similar fashion when Covid-19 outbreak brought the life of people to a standstill.
Several heroes and a few producers have announced their donations to CM Funds of 2 Telugu states.
There is a Tollywood family which everybody thinks that it is a TDP supporter or sympathizer, has come up with an idea regarding these donations. The idea is such that no one can object it or they can say it is wrong.
Rather than donating money to the CM Relief Fund, they have started a Relief Fund so that they can spend the amount. They have named it CCC and handed over the control to the Mega family.
They have reportedly appointed the committee members who listen to them without asking any questions as per the grapevine.
Now, the future donations from the Tollywood celebs will go to this fund, not CM Relief Fund.
Someone has to help Tollywood workers, they are helping themselves. It appears to be fair. But there is an inside talk that the bigwigs have come up with another master plan.
As the theater staff is also part of Tollywood, they are planning to bring them into this relief fund safety net.
If the theater staff is regarded as Tollywood workers, it is going to be a huge relief to some bigwigs who control theaters through lease agreements. They do not have to help the theater staff.
A big company that has several theaters under its control in Telangana has not donated a single rupee to either CM Relief Fund or CCC. Similarly, another company that has many theaters, didn’t donate a single penny.
In fact, a bigwig who controls a huge number of theaters in Telangana got ready to pay full salaries to the theater staff this month but another Tollywood senior said to have stopped him.
He came up with an idea that we’ll pay them half the salary and distribute them provision items from CCC.
