Minimum Respect Not Given To Chandrababu

Chandrababu Naidu, who is the Opposition leader in the Assembly, is said to be not getting due respect in the house. TDP’s leaders and MLAs are upset over the “ill treatment” being given to Chandrababu in Jagan’s government. Going into details, Chandrababu’s convoy has been reduced without proper review or substantial discussion in Security Affairs Committee (SAC).

Going into details, Escort vehicles in Chandrababu Naidu’s convoy has been reduced. Chandrababu, who is under Z-Plus security protection, should have a 8 vehicle convoy including Pilot, Escort 1, Escort 2, Jammer, VIP Spare, NSG 1, NSG 2 and Chandrababu’s Vehicle. Usually, in order to do any changes in the convoy, it has to be discussed and reviewed in SAC. Whereas without any such prior discussion, Pilot and Escort vehicles have been removed from Naidu’s convoy. Also, when Naidu came to Assembly session, his convoy has been stopped outside the Assembly and only his car alone was allowed inside the house.

It is learnt that a few ‘over-enthusiastic’ officials have made the above changes and took such ‘decision’ in order to please CM Jagan. TDP leaders are said to be upset with this reduction of Naidu’s convoy. TDP leaders have recalled how Naidu had treated Jagan when the latter was Opposition Leader in previous tenure.

When Naidu was the CM, Opposition Leader YS Jagan’s convoy was allowed from A-2. This is said to be on par with the cabinet ministers. And even the parking for Opposition leader’s convoy was said to be on par with ministers.

Even when Naidu had acted as Oppositon Leader in the United Andhra Pradesh in 2009 to 2014, Naidu said to had got ‘due respect’ from then Congress government. TDP leaders have expressed their shock that Chandrababu was “never treated in such ill manner” before.

Will ‘Vinaya Vidheya’ CM Jagan Anna respond to the ‘ill treatment’ being done to elderly Chandrababu? That’s the moot question.
