Mirchi singer banned from Indian Cinema

Singer Mika Singh who crooned hit songs like ‘Yahoon Yahoon’ from Prabhas’ ‘Mirchi’ has been banned and boycotted by All India Cine Workers Association (AICWA). The reason behind banning Mika is recently he performed at a wedding in Karachi, Pakistan.

The wedding belongs to daughter of former President of Pakistan, Pervez Musharraf’s billionaire cousin and he reportedly charged Rs 1.06 crore as remuneration for his performance. AICWA in a statement said Mika has put money over the nation at a time when India and Pakistan are on war of words on Article 370.

Couple of videos of Mika performing from the event surfaced on social media and went viral. Netizens have lashed out at Mika for his actions. President of AICWA warned that if any one works with Mika Singh, will have to face the court and they might too face ban.
