Modi Denies Appointment To KCR, KTR Fires on BJP

A day after Telangana CM KCR has been denied appointment by Prime Minister’s Office, son and IT minister KTR has breathed fire on the Centre. Venting out his frustration, minister KTR alleged that the Centre is “purposefully ignoring” the Telangana state owing to its political reasons. KTR alleged the Centre of resorting to politics and alleged that it is “hampering” the growth of Telangana.

KTR opined, “The due projects that Telangana ought to get are not being approved. A lot of projects are in pending.” He reportedly alleged that the entire growth is centered around Nagpur which is being represented by Union Minister Nitin Gadkari.

The gap between the Telangana state and the Centre has widened over the time. KCR’s alleged personal comments on PM Modi have irked Modi and the party. BJP coming out victorious in Nizambad by defeating KCR’s daughter Kavitha is a huge set back to TRS.

And the gap widened further with the change of Telangana state governor. The appointment of former president of BJP’s Tamil Nadu unit Tamilisai Soundararajan has further disturbed CM KCR.

Even the dispute between the Centre and the state continued pertaining to the defense lands in the twin cities. As PM Modi gently declined to give appointment to Telangana CM, KCR has further hurt and the gap seems to have further widened.
