Mothkupalli to take up Kapu cause in AP?

Former minister from Telangana Mothkupalli Narasimhulu, who was expelled from the Telugu Desam Party recently, seems to be seething with vengeance against TDP president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu.

So much so that he is ready to join hands with anybody who is speaking against Naidu, be it in Telangana or in Andhra.

While there is no clarity yet as to whether or not he would join the Telangana Rashtra Samithi soon, Mothkupalli seems to have decided to give sleepless nights to Naidu in the neighbouring state.

On Friday, Mothkupalli had a meeting with former minister and Kapu strongman Mudragada Padmanabham, who came to Hyderabad to call on former Union minister Bandaru Dattatreya who lost his son recently and console the bereaved family. In fact, Mudragada himself drove to Mothkupalli’s house at Begumpet and held a lengthy meeting with him.

The expelled TDP leader explained to Mudragada how Naidu had ditched him after using his services for the party. Naturally, Mudragada empathised with Mothkupalli and shared his feelings.

The Telangana leader told him that he wanted to tour entire Andhra Pradesh to expose Naidu’s crooked politics and corrupt practices.

A highly enthused Mudragada assured that he would extend all possible help to Mothkupalli in his war against Naidu.

The Telangana leader said he would take up the cause of SC categorisation as well as Kapu reservations during his campaign in Andhra.

“If necessary, Mothkupalli is also ready to join hands with the YSRC to extend his help to defeat Naidu,” a source close to Mothkupalli said.
