Post Cabinet Expansion, AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is doing an exercise to appoint the new chairman of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD).
The term of current TTD Chairman Chadalavada Krishnamurthy is nearing completion. Rajahmundry MP Murali Mohan, MLC Gali Muddukrishnama Naidu, Narsaraopet MP Rayapati Sambasiva Rao and IAS Officer Dr. K Lakshminarayana are in race for the post.
Neither Rayapati nor Gali mayn’t be preferred by AP CM because of their controversial approach. Already, There are allegations against the Senior MP over AP Capital lands. Whereas, Gali irked the party leadership on few occasions with his statements.
Sources say, Chandrababu Naidu is keen on appointing one among Murali Mohan and Lakshminarayana as TTD Chairman. Having Non-Controversial Track Record is the biggest advantage of these two influential personalities. While Murali Mohan is loyal to TDP Leadership since decades, TDP Supremo promised TTD Chairman post for Lakshminarayana.
