Days after ‘ruing’ that he was insulted by Chandrababu for not inviting him to Mahanadu, senior leader Motkupalli Narasimhulu breathed fire on party chief Chandrababu in his latest remarks. Hailing KCR and hitting out at Naidu, Motkupalli said that KCR is better than Chandrababu. He praised KCR by comparing him with party founder NTR with whom Motkupalli had good relation.
Reminiscing the past, Motkupalli said it was NTR who had fixed Muhurat for his marriage. He recalled that NTR had even given a treat for his marriage and stood as example. Whereas Motkupalli alleged that Chandrababu, who had claimed to do his (Motkupalli’s) daughter’s marriage, attended his daughter’s marriage with great difficulty.
“Although I had not spoken to KCR for 15 years, when I had invited him for my daughter’s marriage, he had come on time. Chandrababu, who promised me to personally do my daughter’s marriage, came with great difficulty,” emotional Motkupalli told media at his residence on Friday. Motkupalli also said that no one would believe Chandrababu in Telangana.
Motkupalli also brought his “Dalit” tag and asked whether he was not invited to Mahanadu just because he was a Dalit although a senior leader in the party. Earlier, Motkupalli commented that Telangana unit of TDP should be merged in TRS which drew the ire of Naidu.
On parting note Motkupalli said, he still belongs to Chandrababu Naidu’s team and is just trying to expose the wrongdoings in the party and trying to bring them to Naidu’s notice. He alleged that Naidu is not giving time to meet him.
