Nara Lokesh’s constant misfires troubling TDP

Nara Lokesh, the son of TDP Chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu, and the general secretary of TDP, seems to be missing the mark when it comes to criticising Jagan these days.

Nara Lokesh is trying his best to win the support of the people right now, especially with the anti-government feeling rising up among everyone. However, all of his speeches are ending up to be huge misfires, neither benefitting TDP, nor criticising Jagan.

Nara Lokesh is constantly bringing up names of Raja Reddy and Rajasekhar Reddy to compare and criticise Jagan’s rule. Lokesh is also constantly talking about the same old topics like the three capital mishap and the demolition of Praja Vedika. While it was passable around the first time, his repetition of the same topics is raising several doubts, the most important one being its relevance to the current situation.

If Lokesh talked about the most recent mishaps of Jagan, like his liquor rate schemes, sand mafia, arrests of popular politicians, then it would have made more sense. These issues would have helped Lokesh to turn the tide against YSRCP, and in the favor of TDP. However, Lokesh is failing to do so, with his constant misfires.

Then there’s also the fact that neither Lokesh nor Chandrababu Naidu failed to visit any of the Vizag Gas leak victims so far – which is definitely not good for their image. Also, while touring Srikakulam recently, Lokesh made a statement about not being able to talk to his wife without the permission of Jagan. This statement raised eyebrows and has become quite controversial for the leader.

It is time that Lokesh checks his speeches, and makes sure that they talk about the present scenario, rather than what happened in the past. This way, he will be able to get the support of the people.
