New COVID rules may not affect RRR script

The Telugu Film Industry finally received permission to resume movie shootings from the first week of June. But the makers need to follow all the COVID 19 guidelines. However, as soon as the news circulated on social media, speculations have begun that the tough taskmaster SS Rajamouli may change the RRR script to avoid scenes that require massive manpower.

A source close to team RRR admitted that the magnum opus script has long been locked and it will not be changed at any cost. The source further admitted that Jakkana and his team are currently working on ways to resume the shoot with the current challenging rules.

Set in the late 1800s and early 1900s, RRR will have Jr NTR playing a rebellious character called Komaram Bheem who fought the Nizam rulers for the rights of the Adivasis living in the forests of Telangana. Ram Charan will be seen in the powerful Alluri Sitarama Raju role. This high-budget film is being directed by Rajamouli and bankrolled by DVV Danayya.
