New Report: Deadliest Day For Heartattacks Found!

Post the Covid outbreak things have changed and irrespective of age people are sustaining heart attacks and such cases are increasing. Even healthy people are sustaining heart attacks all of a sudden. People with no health issues are sustaining cardiac arrests and breathing their last. The trend is causing fear among people.

No one is able to answer the question of why this is happening. Now a new report was out which says which is the deadliest day for heart attacks. The answer on which day is deadly for heart attacks is shocking. Though the study could not find the exact reason behind this, they have found new aspect based on the information they gathered in the process.

There are types of heart attacks and ST-elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) is a type of heart attack. To make people understand the heart attack type in simple terms, the heart’s blood vessel gets clotted totally, and if this happens victims fall severely ill and pass away.

Researchers at Belfast Health and Social Care Trust in Ireland and the Royal College of Surgeons conducted a study on types of heart attacks. The data of around 10,528 patients who were admitted to hospitals between 2013 to 2018 were examined and the majority of heart attacks were sustained on Monday.

Compared to Sunday, heart attacks are high on Mondays. The same was announced during the British Cardiovascular Society conference. They said that the study found which day is deadly for heart attacks. They also expressed confidence that there is a chance of saving lives with the data.

The researchers said that there is a relation between Monday and Stemi heart attack and the aspect was found long back. Revealing more details, they said that the sleep cycle and the body going to sleep are related. This is called Circadian Rhythm and the situation is called Blue Monday and they are high on Mondays. However, they could not answer why the heart attacks are coming. Performing Angioplasty on patients who sustain STEMI is a necessity. If the conditions are found at the earliest and the treatment to remove the clots in blood vessels is given then there is a chance of saving the patient.
