Nithyananda: Devotee Files Fraud Case, French Starts Searching

With the new country, new luxurious living and new preachings, the self-styled godman Swami Nithyananda is seen apathetic and living a carefree life in spite of facing charges of illegal confinement of children and a rape case on him. Apart from these, the recent news is that French authorities have got in to investigate the case for an alleged fraud worth USD 400,000.

It is reported that a Frech native, a devotee, filed a complaint on Nithyananda saying that he had cheated him out of USD 400,000. As we know, an FIR was registered last month against Nithyananda after two girls went missing from his ashram in Ahmedabad. From then on, the guru has been facing kidnapping and wrongful confinement of children charges, along with the earlier rape case.

However, in spite of the constant efforts, the whereabouts of Nithyananda is still a mystery. After the recent rumours of Kailaasa, Nithyananda’s own Hindu island-country, the Gujarat cops are going to approach Interpol seeking a ‘Blue Corner notice’ to locate Nithyananda. The state Criminal Investigation Department (CID) received a letter from Ahemdabad Police on Thursday regarding the same.

The Gujarat police team also searched the Bidadi ashram last week to trace him.Hoping that the French government finds him, along with Nithyananda, there are still plenty of Godmen who have built empires out of fraudulent means. The foreigner’s new allegation of exploitation by the guru comes as a shock to many.
