Suriya’s upcoming political thriller NGK – Nanda Gopala Krishna directed by Selva Raghavan (Sri Raghava) was supposed to clash with Vijay Deverakonda’s Dear Comrade.
But it got lucky as the red hot Deverakonda’s film has been pushed to July. However, NGK is not going to have solo release in Telugu states on May 31.
NGK has got company with a promising low budget film Falaknuma Das also releasing on the same day. And that is not it. There is Abhinetri 2, a horror drama that is releasing in Telugu and Tamil on May 31.
It has been a while since a Suriya starrer has done well at Telugu box office. The star Tamil hero who used to enjoy guaranteed returns in Telugu has been struggling to impress Telugu audience lately.
Can NGK withstand the competition from the promising competitors and come out as a winner?
