Many heroes were offered Raja The Great. While Ram was clear about not playing a blind man, NTR too rejected playing the part. Though he was keen on playing the role, NTR too felt doing Jai Lava Kusa was a better option.
So the film finally went to Ravi Teja. While the character had nothing new to offer, Ravi Teja played the part in his characteristic style.
On the other hand, JLK helped NTR’s career. Had he done Anil Ravipudi’s character, he would have lost out on JLK. So skipping Raja The Great did help NTR’s career.
