The news on two Telangana men claiming lives in Christchurch, New Zealand, has been confirmed yesterday by the authorities. The latest information is that another Telangana-based man, Ozair Khadir, has lost his life in the twin shootings too.
All three of them has gone to the mosque for their Friday prayers and has been killed by the Australian shooter. Ozair Khadir is a 25-year-old aeronautical student in NZ and a total of 8 Indians have killed in the terror attacks so far. Ozair’s death has been confirmed today morning by the Indian High-commisioner’s office in New Zealand. The family is shattered at the moment to hear their son’s death news.
Until yesterday, the family filed a missing case on Ozair Khadir that he has been lost since the attacks and his cousin Aamir Ali has posted the same on social media accounts too. The three Telangana men who died in the attacks were Mohd. Imran Khan, Farhaj Ahsan, and Ozair Khadir. Another man from Telangana, Jehangir, is currently under the treatment.
The Prime Minister of New Zealand stated that she would cover the cost of funerals and treatments of all 51 victims. She gave a word on financial assistance to the deceased family members.
