There is a superb positive talk around the film and Samantha’s performance got appreciation from all the quarters. Still, ‘Oh Baby’ took huge time to reach a big number in the overseas market as the film entered into the 900K club only a couple of days ago. Guess what, it may struggle a bit to post the coveted 1 million total.
Nearly three weeks after its release, Oh Baby’s overseas collection is standing at $914K (Rs 6.3+ crores). And the film made huge on the recent Tuesday where lots of ticket deals are offered, nearly making $29K, but again it fell to $8K on Wednesday.
Trade pundits feel that the presence of other happening movies Agent Athreya and Brochevarevaru Ra have hampered the chances of Oh Baby to an extent. Broche made $400K already, and if such films are not around, Samantha’s journey would have touched $1.5 million already. And for the coming days, Oh Baby has time until Dear Comrade hits cinemas on July 26th.
Meanwhile, Oh Baby ended as a massive blockbuster already as the film posted 35+ crores gross on a whole.
