While the leaders of Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) are exuding confidence that their party is going to retain the power in state, MIM supremo Asaduddin Owaisi has a surprising response to their claims. The MP has rubbished the ongoing speculations over final results as ‘meaningless’ and appealed to stay calm till the people’s verdict is out.
Reacting to the invitation from Congress party to join the ‘Praja Kutama’ in establishing the new government, Asaduddin said he cannot offer any comment on it.
We all know that MIM has been the friendly party of TRS in this election. But, the controversial remarks made by Akbaruddin Owaisi has caused a debate among political circles. He said: “MIM is going to emerge as the Kingmaker in Telangana polls.” Though many exit polls are suggesting a TRS victory, a widespread talk among people has it that we are going to witness a hung assembly.
Amid these discussions, BJP President Laxman said: “our party will back TRS if they can break ties with MIM, in case of hung.” Taking these statements from BJP chief into consideration, Congress party has urged MIM to reconsider their offer. But, however the MIM chief wants to act only after the results are out. It remains to be seen how are verdict is going to be.
