Heavy drop is witnessed in the Box Office collection of Balakrishna and Puri Jagannadh’s Paisa Vasool on its first Monday (Sep 4).
The film has collected just Rs 90 Lakh share on Monday taking the total share in the Telugu states to Rs 13.9 Crore.
The world-wide share for four days is estimated as Rs 16 Crore and it needs to go a long way to recover monies for the distributors.
According to trade, the film so far collected Rs 25 Crore gross world-wide. Balakrishna is the only crowd puller to Cinemas. His histrionics and mannerisms are saving grace, however, Puri’s age-old story and lackluster narration worked against the film.
While the first half is just okay, the second-half has dampened the prospects of the film. Barring Shriya Saran’s limited role, none of the female roles are not interesting enough to care for.
Trade is predicting that the film would end up as a major loss to the buyers.
