Pawan Kalyan – Losing The Plot

Pawan Kalyan seems to be losing the plot in the ‘translation’. The actor-politician, who is quite outspoken about the North-South discrimination of late, seems to be deviating.

Especially his reactions on several issues including the latest appointment of a North IAS as the EO of the TTD have drawn mixed response. Many are pointing out Pawan’s ‘double standards’ as the actor too had done several Hindi remakes and many of his films have references to North and even have several technicians, actors from North in his films whom he encouraged a lot. In fact, the lyrics of songs in Pawan films did have Hindi words and even Pawan exhibited his love for Hindi and North on several of his films, work.

But irony is that he is totally taking a stand against North or it seems so when it comes to politics. Especially too much stress on the North-South divide and often generalising this is seen as a dangerous step by Pawan.

Pawan, who has always claimed as true nationalist and true patriot, seems to be raking up a narrow ideology for the ‘political mileage’ certainly may not go well with intellectual voters, thinking class. The moot question is that will this really help Pawan achieve his political goals. If at all, how helpful are they? Only time will tell.
