After a decade Krishna river got record levels of water. From Almatti to Jurala to Srisailam and Nagarjunasagar, Krishna river poured in million of cusecs. Not just farmers even the tourists are happy to see the water and especially at Srisailam and Nagarjunasagar dams, they are flocking at large numbers.
The videos of water flowing from the dams are being widely shared on the social media and it’s just a beautiful sight to have a look. With that the majestic Krishna river is back to its glory.
As of Tuesday, the inflow and outflow of water at Srisailam is 2.07 lakh cusecs and 1.06 lakh cuses respectively. While the crust gates at Nagarjunasagar were shut by the irrigation officials. The inflow and outflow at Nagarjunasagar is 68,000 cusecs and 53,000 cusecs and the water level is at 587 feet.
