On Friday, the makers of upcoming Telugu film Rangasthalam teased the first look of Samantha Akkineni’s character.Called Rama Lakshmi, we see a woman, at once playful, mischievous and seductive; the character is a rustic damsel, but certainly not in ‘distress’.
Looks like Samantha is trying hard to do away with her girl-next-door avatar and don a wilful woman’s image as Rama Lakshmi.
Rangasthalam, which is directed by Sukumar, features Ram Charan in his maiden rural avatar. It is being shot predominantly against a rural set up in Godavari district.
