Prakash Raj threw sharp satire on Centre

Actor-activist Prakash Raj has been voicing his opinion against BJP’s policies strongly from some time. Yet again, while addressing a CAA protest, he mocked at Government’s NRC, CAA, and even Narendra Modi’s educational qualification.

Prakash Raj threw sharp satires at the government for the National Register of Citizens and Citizenship Amendment Act calling them a gimmick. He accentuated that a nation does not need 3000 Cr worth statues nor the register for citizens, instead, he suggested it can make a register of the country’s unemployed youths and uneducated children.

He even ridiculed Narendra Modi’s claimed educational qualification that the country’s youth will teach him the political science lessons, so he could get a degree.

Prakash Raj asked the protesters to restrain themselves and keep the protest non-violent, even when the government wants it to be violent. Prakash Raj underlined that a Kargil war hero’s name has been removed from the NRC list just because he is Muslim and also alleged that more than 19 lakh people in Assam were denied citizenship.
