The Bharatiya Janata Party has announced the candidates for the coming Lok Sabha elections. About 280 candidates are announced that includes Andhra Pradesh BJP as well. Daggubati Purandeshwari will contest for the Vizag Parliament while AP BJP President Kanna Lakshmi Narayana will contest from Narsaraopet constituency.

Most of the candidates are heard to be seniors and belong to the Sangh Parivar. The sitting Vizag MP Khambhampati Haribabu name went missing in the list.
