Pushpa: Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna starrer to go on floors from November in Vizag

In what can be termed as massive news to all Stylish Star fans, Allu Arjun’s upcoming film “Pushpa” is all set to commence its regular shoot from November 6th in Vizag. While the first schedule of the big-budget project was briefly shot at a dense forest in Kerala, the shooting got halted due to the rapid spread of COVID-19 and the subsequent lockdown. After eight long months, Pushpa is all set to join the league of big-ticket films like Wild Dog, RRR and Krack which have recently resumed their shoot. The rustic actioner is expected to kick-off with an action sequence.
Directed by versatile filmmaker Sukumar, the film is based on red sanders smuggling and the story will be set against the backdrop of Seshachalam forest, the hilly region of Tirumala. While Allu Arjun underwent a drastic physical transformation and worked on the diction for his role of a lorry driver, Rashmika Mandanna is all set to portray a Chittoor girl in the film. During this lockdown, she even learned the Chittoor dialect from a tutor.
Touted to be a rustic actioner, the rugged avatar and bearded look of Allu Arjun in the first look posters has grabbed the eyeballs of many. Recently, speculations went rife that popular actor Madhavan will be locking horns with the 37-year-old actor in Pushpa. However, the pan-Indian heartthrob took to social media and rubbished all those reports as baseless rumours.
Bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers, the multilingual project will be releasing in Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada. Vijay Sethupathi, who was earlier roped in to play the antagonist’s role backed off from the project citing date issues.
