With the super success of his comeback film Khaidi No.150, Chiru is in celebration mood. Chiru, who returned to films after nearly 10 years, is having a great time with family and industry people. He’s still basking in the glory of the film’s blockbuster hit as the praises pour in from his industry friends, colleagues.
However, in a shocker to Chiru, he said to have received a call from AICC vice president and Congress Yuvraj Rahul Gandhi. It’s learnt that Rahul had requested Chiru to participate in the party’s political campaign for the UP elections. Since the Telugu population in UP is reasonably good, Rahul wants Chiru to campaign for the party there.
Not to forget that Chiru is the Rajya Sabha member of Congress and his term is there till April 2, 2018.
Chiru is now said to be in dilemma over accepting Rahul’s request. He’s said to be caught in two minds on whether to campaign for Congress in UP or not. Given that Congress is having a lean phase in AP and people haven’t forgotten the death blow of Congress to AP and its raw deal to the state by unilaterally dividing AP, if Chiru campaigns for Congress, this would further
On other hand, already, almost all the opinion pollsthat are out in UP are in favour of BJP. The family feud in SP has caused a great damage. Even BSP couldn’t gain advantage of it. Congress is said to be trailing behind all these parties in the largest state of India.
And every single vote in UP elections matter as all the political parties have taken this election as very prestige. Considering all these things, Rahul has assigned the task of campaigning in UP to Chiru.
The big question is that will Chiru accept it or not.
