Rakul’s manager claims that the actor didn’t receive NCB summons

It is learned that Rakul Preet Singh’s name has cropped up in the Bollywood drug ring case despite claiming it rumours. The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has issued notices to Deepika Padukone, Shraddha Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan and Rakul Preet Singh in this regard.

NCB asserts that it issued orders to attend their pre-trial hearing within three days. However, Rakul’s manager claims that she did not receive any summons notice to neither Hyderabad or Mumbai’s residence.

Rakul, who arrived in Hyderabad for an ad film shoot, left for Mumbai on Wednesday night. The NCB, however, condemned her comments. In this context, senior officer KPS Malhotra said, “Summons were issued to her. She was not available on the phone. We approached her through various platforms, what she says is just reasons for evading.

Apart from them, NCB demanded Deepika and also manager Karishma, designer Simon Khambatta and Sushant Singh Rajput manager Shruti Modi for questioning. Today (September 24) Shruti Modi, Simon Khambatta and Rakul Preet are scheduled to appear before the NCB, while Deepika Padukone on September 25 (Friday). Officials also commanded Sara Ali Khan and Shraddha Kapoor to appear for investigation on September 26 (Saturday).
