Ram Charan Manipulated Khaidi Collections?

More than Chiru’s performance, Khaidi No.150 collections were the most talked about. The Box Office numbers of Khaidi have dominated the headlines and debates. After officially announcing Rs 108 Crore gross, team Khaidi No. 150 has gone into oblivion and stopped sharing the figures. Even the much awaited “Thank You” function of Khaidi that was planned to organise on grand scale was cancelled only to avoid mentioning any further figures, say sources.

Now, here is the twist in the tale. Khaidi producer Ram Charan has reportedly quoted low Box Office figures when asked by the Income-Tax officials. According to Deccan Chronicle, Ram Charan said to have quoted 75 Crore share for Khaidi while the budget was pegged at Rs 60 Crore. This is not all. Ram Charan has reportedly told I-T sleuths that Chiru was paid a remuneration of Rs 20 Crore while director Vinayak was paid Rs 10 Crore.

Now these figures are raising eye balls and setting tongues wagging. Actually, the BO figures and statistics doing rounds in market and social media is totally different. Khaidi No. 150 has crossed over Rs 100 Crore share and stood as industry hit next only to epic Baahubali.

Has Ram Charan lessen the original collections to evade IT officials or has Khaidi team circulated the increased BO figures to show off and claim records? Either ways, producer Ram Charan appears to have manipulated the numbers. Well, only Ram Charan knows the truth.
