RCB likely to replace Virat Kohli midway IPL!

The Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) led by Run Machine Virat Kohli suffered a humiliating defeat in their first match in the recently started second leg of the Indian Premier League. RCB had suffered a big loss by nine wickets.

The big defeat recorded by RCB led to the reports claiming that Virat Kohli might be dropped as the skipper mid-way. He was also not impressive as a batsman in the Monday match and he lost his wicket for a mere score of 5 runs.

Seeing the record of Virat Kohli as the skipper, the RCB team is said to be deciding on removing Virat from the post before the match against Chennai Super Kings that is scheduled to be played tomorrow. If the reports appear true, RCB might play under a new captain on September 24.

Earlier, Virat Kohli announced that he will be stepping down as the skipper of Team India for the T20 format after the T 20 World Cup and RCB team after the 2021 edition. He also said that he will continue with the RCB till the time he plays the IPL.

Despite leading the RCB from 2013, Virat Kohli could not lift the IPL trophy. Once he took the team to the final as well. But the team failed to emerge victorious in the final.

Looking at the possibilities of Virat Kohli being replaced midway, no player comes into the picture. Virat Kohli is one of the main reasons behind the fan following of RCB. If Virat Kohli loses his captaincy midway the fan base might also start to leave the team gradually.
