Many felt that Rakul is losing weight unnecessarily and all her cute charms are gone. Even glamour lovers and her hardcore fans felt that there is no need to get such a strikingly thin frame look. But the actress had her own reason to get into such skin.
“Getting big films in Bollywood is a tough thing, forget about heroine-centric roles. So When I got De De Pyaar De offer, the director asked me to look like Deepika Padukone in Cocktail, so I’ve to lost nearly 10 kgs. As I’ve my own gym, I lost that weight in a month and built some of the muscle later” said Rakul, whose glamorous teasings in bikini blouses over a saree in this film’s songs are enthralling youths now.
Well, we have to appreciate her commitment but the only wish of Telugu folks is that she should not become another Ileana, who also sported similar lean look for Bollywood, but then lost her place in both South and Mumbai as well.
