As we broke the news earlier, Mahesh Babu’s “Bharath Ane Nenu” has been pushed to summer of 2018. With one big film out of the race during Sankranthi, Anushka has joined the race now.

In fact, UV Creations has been waiting for the right slot during the holiday season for their big release “Bhagmati”. The film has Anushka playing the lead.

Initially, Bhagmati was readied for Sankranthi release. However, Anushka had warned against competing with Mahesh and Pawan Kalyan. So, the production house refrained from announcing a release date.

After hordes of news about two big movies competing against each other, it is clear that Pawan’s 25th movie will be the only release at the time. So, Anushka is said to have given her nod for a Sankranthi release.

“Bhagmati” happens to be a graphical horror-comedy made with high budget. The film’s shoot is already complete and post-production work is also being completed.

In the past, Anushka had the biggest hit of her career with Arundathi during the Sankranthi season. Moreover, UV Creations too had two hits during the season with Express Raja and Mahanubhavudu.

So, the official date will be formally announced this month say unit members.
