Reverse Punch To YSRCP In Chirala!

In an interesting development after Chirala MLA Amanchi Krishna Mohan’s exit from the Telugu Desam Party, YSR Congress Party in-charge for the constituency met AP Chief Minister and TDP Chief N. Chandrababu on Monday late night. This is being seen as TDP’s counter-move to give a befitting reply to Amanchi who is said to have demanded the TDP leadership.

According to sources, YSRCP in-charge for Chirala, Balaji, met Chandrababu Naidu and discussed his prospects in the party. It is learned that the TDP Chief assured to take care of his interests if he joins the party. However, Balaji is said to be contemplating his exit from YSRCP but hasn’t confirmed it yet.

Amanchi Krishna Mohan quit Telugu Desam Party after holding talks with Chandrababu. According to the former TDP MLA, the TDP High Command failed to acknowledge his presence and has sidelined him. Following this, the snubbed MLA resigned to the TDP and joined YSR Congress Party.

While Amanchi’s resignation came as a surprise, this news of YSRCP in-charge meeting the TDP Chief is being viewed as TDP’s reverse punch to the party which has been poaching MLAs and MPs from the ruling party. Well, the fight for power ahead of assembly elections just seems to get interesting as the days pass by!
