#RTCStrike: Telangana High Court gives up!

After nearly a month of hearing, the Telangana High Court has given up itself on Telangana RTC strike. On Monday the case arrived for hearing yet again and advocate general (AG) on behalf of Telangana government claimed that TSRTC strike is illegal.

After hearing AG’s arguments, the High Court said, it can’t directly send orders to the state government. ”Even the court has certain limitations and we can’t go beyond them. Also forwarding the case to Labour Court and appeal to the Labour Commissioner to solve the RTC strike within two weeks,” said the court.

This is kind of moral victory for TRS sarkar and with this Telangana CM KCR will have all the power to invite private travel operators. KCR is waiting for the Court’s comments on privatization of 5100 routes and with fresh statements, in a day or two, the formal announcement might come.

Meanwhile RTC JAC convener Ashwathama Reddy is continuing his fast unto death while the employees are agitation against his detention.
