#RTCStrike: Will KCR accept KK mediation

The TSRTC strike is not yielding any result. CM KCR and RTC JAC are very stubborn on their respective demands while it’s the employees and general public who are struggling. Simultaneously the protest is turning aggressive and yesterday the shutdown was successful in Khammam district.

In the last few days many TRS ministers have made negative comments against RTC strike and this further upset the employees a lot. Like a ray of hope and out of nowhere, TRS MP K Keshav Rao came forward and offered to mediate between RTC JAC and CM KCR.

The RTC JAC too said that they are okay with Keshav Rao mediating the talks but it is yet to be known whether CM KCR had asked the Rajya Sabha MP to negotiate things. Even before getting consent from KCR, Keshav Rao is on his way to Hyderabad from New Delhi.

But the main twist is here. Keshav Rao appealed to the RTC employees to call off the strike and then come for talks and CM KCR too wants the strike to end with immediate effect. However RTC JAC is apprehensive to end the strike and go for talks. If they do so, they want a proper assurance of merging RTC with the government.

On the other hand RTC has approached High Court over non-payment of September month salaries. This petition will come for hearing on Tuesday.
