Salman’s Response Irks Baahubali Fans

All the three Khans of Bollywood have finally responded on the phenomenal success of ‘Baahubali 2’ and they all have different things to say. Both SRK and Aamir have recently said separately that they didn’t watch the film but praised it and congratulated the whole team. Now, the true box office king, Salman Khan, has also lauded the film but then made a quirky comment.

Interacting with media on the sidelines of trailer launch of his upcoming film ‘Tubelight’, when Salman was asked if he thinks his film can break the box office records of ‘Baahubali 2’, the actor said, “After Baahubali, we came up with Bajrangi Bhaijaan and it did well. Now, after Baahubali 2, we are coming up with Tubelight. I am not much worried about box office numbers. I have yet to see Baahubali 2 but I heard it is a phenomenal success. I think every film has its own destiny.”

Without acknowledging the efforts of Rajamouli, the cast and producers, Salman simply gave the entire credit of film’s success to ‘destiny’.

If that was bot enough, he later said, “They made Baahubali in four years whereas I do two films a year. If you calculate the total box office numbers of all my films in that period, there is a difference.”

Salman’s alleged comments, which seemed as if he was trying to downplay Baahubali’s success, have not gone well with fans.
