Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan are likely to come together onscreen

Omg! How we have been waiting for this day! If latest reports are anything to go by, then Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan might soon be seen sharing screen space together. Yes, this is happening! Sources close to DNA reveal that Star Plus(TV channel), who recently initiated Aamir’s ‘Nayi Soch’ campaign which is nothing but a build up for SRK’s Indian version of TED Talks is now wanting to get the two together for a TVC. With both the superstars working under the same banner, it is only commercially viable that they join hands.

Confirms the source, “Aamir playing a sweet seller who is helped by his daughters in the shop got rave reviews. This has encouraged the channel’s brand team to try and rope in both Shah Rukh and Aamir together. What a coup that would be! It may be noted that last month, the duo bumped into each at the 50th birthday bash of entrepreneur Ajay Bijli and posed together for a pic for the first time in 25 years.” Oh! That epic selfie will certainly remain with us for a lifetime.

We dunno how true is this report but if at all the channel is really trying to get the superstars together then nothing like it. I mean, this will be the first time SRK and Aamir will be seen doing a full-fledged project together; that too by marking their much awaited reunion on the small screen. Of course, they had collaborated for a brief role in 1993 film Pehla Nasha followed by a cameo in Luck By Chance but coming together for a TV series is going to be the best surprise Bollywood could ever witness.

Talking about his association with TED, Shah Rukh recently said, “I believe ‘TED Talks India-Nayi Soch’ will inspire many minds across India. It is a concept I connected with instantly as I believe that the media is perhaps the single most powerful vehicle to inspire change. I am looking forward to working with TED and Star India and truly hope that together we are able to inspire young minds across India and the world.”
