Sharwa Should Understand These 3 Ms

After a lot of hungama before the film’s release regarding the style quotient inside the movie, Sharwanand’s Ranarangam failed to impress the audiences. While the hero, who started promoting the film only two days in advance, has stated that reviews have upset him but audiences gave a nice verdict, it’s high time to delve into the truth.

While Ranrangam has a good opening day, the film didn’t live up to expectations in the next couple of days as it made close to 7 Cr share in the first weekend. As the film got sold for 16+ crores when it comes to theatrical rights, it is just halfway through, but the Monday collections and Tuesday bookings are not hopeful for the film’s recovery. One wonders if Sharwa is reading into this or busy shooting for the next film.

Firstly, he needs to understand the ‘market’ and make his producer invest accordingly rather pouring money to get stylised looks. Then he should make sure that the film has enough ‘material’ that it will work at the box office even in odd situations. In case if the content is bad, then he should escalate the ‘marketing’ by focusing on hefty promotions that place the film on must watch list of audiences.

If these 3 Ms are not in place, then results will always topple. For a hero who delivered 40+ crore hits like Mahanubhavudu and Satamanam Bhavati, a 10 crores range collection is a lesson of sorts. Learn it Sharwa!!
