Sharwanand’s film going the OTT way?

Sharwanand’s upcoming film Sreekaram would have been out in theaters this summer but the onset of Covid-19 pandemic has resulted in an indefinite postponement of the film.

With the chances of theaters being re-opened in the foreseeable future looking bleak, the makers of Sreekaram are now contemplating the OTT option.

Reportedly, the producers of the rural drama are now listening to offers from top OTT platforms and will be striking a deal sooner or later. It will be joining the likes of Nishabdham and Solo Brathuke So Better which are gearing up for a direct to digital release.

Sreekaram is a message-oriented drama which also highlights the struggles of farmers. It has Sharwanand and Priyanka Arul Mohan in the lead roles. Debutante Kishore Reddy is directing the film and the shoot will be completed next month.

14 Reels Plus Entertainments are confident that the film has a strong storyline and will fetch good offers from OTT platforms. They are waiting for a deal in upwards of Rs 30 crores.
