The violence against college going girls in the name of love, has once again made it to headlines and this happened in Hyderabad city.
A minor girl who is pursuing her intermediate second year is attacked on Wednesday morning by a stalker who has been following her since quite long. The attacker is identified as Bharat who stays close by to the girl’s residence in Bharakatpura.
As per the witness, Bharat attacked with a coconut knife and stabbed the girl’s neck and hands. She fell in the ground instantly and Bharat flew from the spot. The girl’s uncle who witnessed from a 100 metres distance, rushed her to hospital. Her uncle informed the media that they had complained to SHE teams against Bharat but no severe action was taken.
The police have registered a case and are hunting for the culprit.
