Spend wisely but not lavishly ‘Raja’

In recent times, we have seen umpteen films roping in Hollywood and other foreign technicians for their movies. Starting from cinematographers, action designers, special makeup artists, stuntmen, VFX specialists, we have so many talented technicians coming from abroad for Telugu films.

Time and again, we popularise that a lot but in the end, all those things don’t matter. This is being discussed in the wake of Raviteja’s Disco Raja makers announcing that they have roped in the VFX and stunt design team of Fast and Furious franchise to create an action sequence for ‘Disco Raja’ movie which will be shot in Iceland. The makers are boasting that they are spending 4-5 crores for this sequence alone.

First of all these announcements fail to create any excitement as Mass Raja’s career graph hit all time low as his last outing Amar Akbar Antony failed to get even a 6 crores share from the box office after it got disastrous talk. Keeping that in mind, many advise producer of the film to spend wisely but not lavishly.

Secondly, when a product like Saaho that is made with 300 crores looked bit inferior in graphics despite having top-notch Hollywood team in hand, what would audiences expect from Disco Raja now? Until and unless there is content inside the film, these discos don’t work at all.
