Called lovingly as Simbu by his fans, he is a multitalented artist who can act, write scripts, direct movies, pen lyrics, sing songs and is even a good dancer too. He came to the film industry at a very young age and turned into a star within a short time. He has a huge following but controversies took a toll on his career.

His father TR Rajendar has always been his biggest supporter. The senior actor and filmmaker is a popular personality among Tamil and Telugu people as well. TR fell ill a few weeks back and he was treated at a private hospital in Chennai. After the insistence of STR, the senior actor decided to fly to the USA and get advanced treatment for his stomach-related illness.
Reports suggest that TR Rajendar is currently doing well and his body showed a good response to the treatment. A picture of TR with his wife and son Simbu came out on the internet today and it is getting the fans cheered up as the 67-year-old celebrity is looking healthy and energetic compared to before.
