As everyone is eagerly waiting, finally the much awaited teaser of the magnum opus ‘Sye Raa’ is here which features Megastar Chiranjeevi in the role of forgotten rebel Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy who happens to be the first ever Indian to raise against the tyrannous British rule.
Opening with Pawan Kalyan’s voice, the teaser establishes the atmosphere of Renadu while the voice-over narrates how the place has a forgotten hero Uyyalwada Narasimha Reddy who has terrified British rulers. Introducing Chiranjeevi as the fierce warrior who comes on a horse and takes things by a storm, the teaser shows how his fleet cuts across British lines to defend the homeland.
Top notch action sequences composed by Greg Powell and Lee Whittaker are gonna leave us speechless if the teaser is anything to go by. Then the background score given by Julius Packiam along with Amit Trivedi’s tunes are just the need of the hour to lift this patriotic drama to a new level. Ratnavelu’s camera work and Kamal Kannan’s brilliant VFX output along with Rajeevan’s art direction are top notch we must say.
While the glimpses of all other stars inside the film including Kichha Sudeep, Vijay Sethupathi, Tamanna, Nayantara, Jagapathi Babu are also given, the teaser is all the way Megastar’s show. Especially the dialogue written by Sai Madhav Burra for Uyyalawada, ‘We may not be here to witness history, but history starts from us’ sums it up well.
