Taapsee Seeks Apology for Comments on KRR

Actress Taapsee Pannu has sought an apology for her recently made controversial comments on veteran Tollywood director, K. Raghavendra Rao.

It may be recalled that speaking at an event, Taapsee allegedly made fun of Raghavendra Rao’s obsession with throwing fruits and flowers at heroines’ mid-riffs. Her comments have kicked up a storm among Telugu film lovers and film fraternity. She soon started receiving hate messages, and criticism poured in for making such derogatory comments on the director and the film industry which launched her.

Taapsee has now sought an apology from whoever that has got hurt because of her comments. ‘I didn’t intend to hurt anyone. I was just trying to make fun of myself, how I was clueless about the happenings around me in film industry etc. If hurt anyone in the process,I apologize,’ she said.

‘Raghavendra Rao garu is the reason why I am here today, and I can never forget that. It’s strange that some people have taken my comments in a way that I have insulted him, but I haven’t,’ Taapsee said.

The Delhi beauty seems to have pushed the blame on people for misunderstanding her comments. Is anyone ready to buy her excuse after watching the video of hers talking about KRR and Tollywood?
