Talasani fires at Chandrababu in Amaravati

As someone who is extremely loyal to the Telangana Rashtra Samithi, Talasani Srinivas Yadav who has visited Andhra Pradesh again held a press meet on Thursday in Vijayawada to criticise AP Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu’s failures. Alleging harassment of Hailand management, Talasani said that he initially planned to have the press meet at Hailand. “But the state intelligence officials began harassing the management. I wonder whether I’m in India or elsewhere,” he said.

“I was forced to shift the venue to the capital city,” he said, criticising Chandrababu for lavishly spending on Dharma Porata Deeksha while the state is suffering from a revenue deficit. “He is currently distributing peanuts to people,” Talasani remarked, adding that the Chief Minister has failed to take care of the welfare of AP people.

Stating that the dairy farmers in the state are facing losses, he alleged that the Chief Minister is only concerned about his own Heritage company which is making lakhs through it. “On one side he is paying income tax on the profits that his Heritage is getting, leaving the dairy farmers in the state to the wind,” he said, adding that the Chief Minister cannot implement the 5% quota given to Kapus in the state.

Reacting to Talasani’s visit to Andhra Pradesh, several TDP leaders have said that the purpose of his visits seem to only be to criticise the CM. “They are now in revenue deficit state. They are only paying salaries. Beyond that, they are not able to implement any scheme as promised due to budget constraints. So, they are coming to AP and trying to ruin TDP Chief’s image here,” they opine, adding that people of AP will not believe KCR or TRS leaders because they are known to abuse “Andhra people” and show them in bad light.
