Despite being a top heroine, Nayantara always maintained that she will be skipping the promotions of her films as she thinks that a film should run on the merit of its content, but not due to the promotions. However, her theory may be wrong as big-budgeted films will reach more film lovers only if they promote it well.
Other day, with Megastar Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan taking it to Bollywood to release the teaser of Sye Raa, many have expected even Nayantara to grace the event as she happens to be the main heroine of the movie. Though Tamanna dazzled at the event, Nayantara is not to be seen anywhere as she hasn’t made it. The moment her absence is noticed, some fans started asking if she has no respect even for Sye Raa?
Sources close to film unit, however, maintained that there is no big difference Nayantara could make with promotions at a time when Megastar Chiru himself is there everywhere. With Chiru and Charan taking the onus of promotion, and the likes of Sudeep, Vijay Sethupathi and Farhan Akthar joining them, there is no pointing in raving about missing Nayan, the source commented.
On the other hand, Nayantara might attend the Tamil version promotions of the film and the pre-release event in Hyderabad if sources are to be believed.
