T’Congress complains against Narasimhan

Telangana Congress leaders have lodged a complaint against former Telangana Governor ESL Narasimhan with new Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan. A delegation led by Congress Legislature Party (CLP) leader Bhatti Vikramarka, TPCC chief Uttam Kumar Reddy and others met Tamilisai at Raj Bhavan on Wednesday.

In their complaint, T’Congress leaders alleged that Narasimhan has encouraged defections in TRS government’s first term. “Talasani got elected as MLA on TDP ticket but he was made minister without taking any action. Once again 12 MLAs who won Congress ticket defected into TRS and now Sabitha Indra Reddy is made minister. This is completely against Anti-Defection Law and all the MLAs should be disqualified immediately,” demanded Bhatti Vikramarka.

During this meet, an interesting conversation took place between Governor Tamilisai and Bhatti. She said that she has watched Bhatti’s speech in the Assembly and appreciated it. Also, Governor Tamilisai assured the T’Congress leaders that she will look into defection of MLAs issue and address it at the earliest.

Speaking after meeting Governor, Bhatti said our meeting was quite positive and we hope the new governor takes appropriate action, unlike the old governor.
