How often do we see a depressed Chandra Babu..? He has been in opposition in the majority part of his political career and did enjoy power for 9 years. Throughout his entire political career, CBN hasn’t been visibly depressed or appeared to be in agony.
But now, though he has 20 MLAs on his side, and he has the status of the opposition leader in the house, he can fight with all his experience but Naidu isn’t opting the most reliable way. He is not at all acting to his responsibilities and it seems he is assuming that he lost the opposition status too. He must be thinking that he was retired from his political life.
In this manner, the TDP cadre is very much unhappy with some numbskull talks of their supremo. The role of the opposition is to pint out the mistakes of the ruling party and to stand with the people so that they can protect from the atrocities being committed by the government. Fortunately, Babu has a lot of scope for that as YSRCP has been controversial throughout its rule.
But instead, Babu is busy boasting that he had built an airport, reconstructed Outer Ring Road, and claiming many achievements, which he never did. The cadre feels that they are already in an abyss and their leader is pulling them into much deeper troubles that question the existence of a party with a grand history. So, Babu definitely needs to wake up to preserve democracy in the state by playing a perfect by-book political game.
