TDP leaders bought 4070 acres in Insider-Trading: AP minister

AP finance minister Buggana Rajendranath talked in detail on the ‘Three Capitals’ in the Assembly. He added that Insider-Trading happened in Amaravati and TDP leaders bought 4070 acres of land in Krishna and Guntur districts before announcing the capital.

“In the time between Chandrababu’s oath ceremony and announcing capital, TDP leaders acquired these lands for nominal prices simultaneously diverted the people’s attention. When the capital was announced, one acre of land sold for Rs 10 crore which means there is a scam of Rs 40,000 crore. TDP chief Chandrababu bought 14.2 acres at Kanteru village in the name of Heritage group,” said Buggana.

Criticising the previous TDP government, the YSRCP minister said, the Sivaramakrishna committee appointed by the Centre made it clear that Amaravati is not an idle place for capital. Ignoring this committee, Chandrababu appointed his own Narayana committee and they suggested Amaravati. Between this gap, many TDP leaders bought. Chandrababu did not just involve in Insider-Trading but also broke ‘Oath of Secrecy.’

Adding, Buggana said Nara Lokesh’s benami Vemuri Prasad too bought hundreds of acres. The minister also revealed the details of land acquired by TDP leaders Pyyavula Keshav, Dhulipala Narendra, Paritala Sunitha, Putta Sudhakar Yadav and GV Anjaneyulu.
