TDP MLA praises Harish Rao

In a recent meeting organized on rural development and Panchayati Raj by NIRD to discuss and understand various innovative methods being taken up by various states, TDP’s Penamaluru MLA Bode Prasad met TRS senior leader Harish Rao. Â

In the workshop, Ibrahimpur village in Siddipet was chosen as a model village and Bode Prasad was part of the visiting delegation to the village. Siddipet which is the home constituency of Harish Rao has been loyal to their leader for the development works undertaken there. Measures such as solar power, underground drainage system, rainwater harvesting pits for every house, distribution of LED bulbs, sheds for cattle, banning of plastic, development of good quality roads as well as a village with 100% literacy are credited to Ibrahimpur’s recognition as a model village. These were explained by Harish Rao during the delegation’s visit to the village. Â

During his visit, MLA Bode Prasad appreciated Harish Rao’s work in his constituency and said that he has also constructed sheds for cattle and named them Gokulalu. Responding to this, Harish Rao told Bode Prasad that Chandrababu is good at coming up with names and both shared a warm camaraderie during this visit.

The delegation of MLAs also met students from the village who informed them that they had followed Harish Rao’s directions and suggestions to make the village stand out. Learning about Harish Rao’s work for Ibrahimpur, Bode Prasad told NIRD officials during his visit that he will replicate the development of Ibrahimpur by choosing 10 villages in his constituency. On the other hand, he also informed Harish Rao that AP Chief Minister’s interventions and plans have led to creating a lot of model villages in AP.

Going by Bode Prasad and Harish Rao’s conversations, looks like both the Telugu states are back on track, learning from each other and progressing with development.
