YSR Congress MLA RK Roja alleges lack of safety for women under the rule of AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu. ‘AP is the only state in the country where there is no safety for women. Roja questioned AP Government why Brinda Karat and Medha Takkar weren’t invited for Women Parliamentarians Conference in Vijayawada. She accused State Government of politicizing the Women Parliamentarians Conference. ‘Will Women tolerate if Chandrababu Naidu, who is behind the attacks on women, attend the Conference? Regarding the attacks on women, Devineni Uma holds the first sport and Atchannaidu will stand at 2nd Position. We would give a representation on the crimes against women in the state during the summit. TDP don’t have the moral right talk about women’s welfare or empowerment. YCP will fight if injustice is being done to women,’ claims the Legislator.
As many as 20,000 Women Achievers from across the World are expected to attend Women Parliamentarians Conference in Vijayawada. PM Narendra Modi, AP CM Chandrababu Naidu and Lok Sabha Speaker Sumithra Natarajan will be taking part in the conference.
