Telangana TDP writes letter to Chandrababu over incompetent leadership

TDP Chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu completely shifted his base to Andhra Pradesh after becoming the CM in 2014. Ever since then, Babu’s sole focus has been on AP politics, and he occasionally cares to make a comment on Telangana politics.

With Babu being absent from the picture in Telangana, L. Ramana has been made the incharge of Telangana TDP. For the past 7 years, he’s been the chief of Telangana TDP, and this is now not sitting well with anyone within the party.

The Telangana TDP members have written a letter to Chandrababu, expressing their wish to terminate Ramana from his position and to give it to someone else, as Ramana has been unable to push the TDP forward in Telangana. They have even reportedly stated that the situation and credibility of the TDP have fallen significantly under Ramana’s leadership as TDP couldn’t even earn as many seats in the 2019 elections, as it did in the 2014 elections. Despite Chandrababu residing in Hyderabad currently, members of the Telangana TDP have been unable to meet him because of Coronavirus, which forced them to write a letter to Babu.

The National General Secretary of TDP, Nara Lokesh has also been focusing on AP solely, and has completely, and has not even been giving the slightest attention to what’s happening in Telangana. With the lack of proper leadership, the Telangana TDP members are said to have felt the pressure to rise up and make TDP consequential once again, which is why they have written the letter to Babu.
