Thammineni makes bold statements against the Judiciary

As the Speaker of a General Assembly, no single individual is to make any comments against either the constitution or any other part of the bodies that govern the country, including the Judiciary. However, Andhra Pradesh speaker Thammineni Sitaram has made some derogatory remarks against the Judiciary.

Thammineni said that the repeated involvement and interference of the Judiciary is increasingly becoming troublesome for the AP government, which is trying to help the people of the state. He took the instance of the government issuing a stay order on the distribution of lands in Amaravati, to the poor, and said that the people will eventually get sick of the way the Judiciary is behaving, and will take part in protests.

Furthermore, Thammineni even said that the Judiciary is an independent body and cannot meddle in the affairs of the Legislative and the Executive, as both of them are independent bodies as well. He said that the Judiciary is behaving as though it wants to run the state, by assuming all the power.

Thammineni also said that while Jagan is keeping quiet, with respect to the interference by the Judiciary, things would go to hell if he decided to speak against them. Thammineni even said that the government is keeping quiet and accepting all the orders passed by the High Court of Andhra Pradesh, and the Supreme Court, but there will be one day when the people will revolt against the Judiciary.

Speaking about Chandrababu’s involvement with the Judiciary, Thammineni said that Babu would soon be exposed, no matter how many ever stay orders he gets from the High Court. Thammineni also said that CBI enquiry would soon be done on the scams that the TDP has done, with respect to the selling and buying of lands, and also said that Jagan had discussed this with Union Home Minister Amit Shah, during his recent visit to Delhi.
